General Contractors
Developing professional and personal relationships with the general contractors we work for is a top priority for Solid Ground Concrete. We know that there are plenty of other great polishing companies that you can do business with. It is important for us to provide all our GC's with not just the highest quality flooring systems, but the best communication and accountability possible. We take pride in our ability to work well with others and understand that we are just one part of an entire process going on around us. Planning and preparation are key to keeping your schedule.
Our Business Process
Our most valuable assets at Solid Ground Concrete are our people and experience. Years of working with the products, working through preparation, acquiring equipment and skills are directly reflected in our process and approach. Adherence to proven process ensures that you get what you need in a predictable high quality product.
Goals Discussion:
Work with you and your team to understand your needs, concerns, risk. Prepare plans for the protection of floors, walls, or assets you need to protect during our installation.
Ask questions about floor loading, cleaning frequency and method, aesthetic needs, current floor deficiencies.
Evaluation:
Survey your site from a perspective of your goals and our experience.
Identify preparation requirements, work required, and protection requirements.
Evaluate how we can minimize down time, or production impact to your customers and workers.
Discuss any variances we have uncovered that will impede our ability to achieve your goals.
Pre-bid Discussion:
Provide several options (Approach and/or Products Solutions) and discuss pros and cons of each including ballpark costs.
Bid:
Prepare a bid for the agreed upon work.
This bid will not be exceeded unless there is a change in scope and you are informed and agree to that change.
The bid will discuss warranties and exclusions and responsibilities of both parties.
If you are still undecided, additional options or approaches can be explored.
Safety:
The safety of your employees and our employees is very important to us and a critical part of our planning and preparation.
A safety plan will be put into place to ensure that your employees and customers are kept a safe distance from the work in progress.
Noise and dust will be proactively minimized.
